Argentina Wastewater Treatment Plant

BACKGROUND
The Cooperative de Obras Y Servicios Publicos de Santa Teresita made Kryton's Argentinean distributor a key contributor to the construction of a local wastewater treatment plant. The plant is designed to have capacity for 100,000 inhabitants and to service the local regions of Santa Teresita, de Mar del Tuyu, and Parti do de la Costallin province of Buenos Aires.

SOLUTION
KIMT admixture was utilized to inhibit drying shrinkage cracking and to provide waterproof concrete on decanting and sediment tanks. The addition of KIMT eliminated the need for external waterproofing membranes. KIMT is performing as specified.
